Creative Recovery is a weekly Friday night gathering at the Blackburn Creative Arts Community Center where creativity and recovery come together. Musicians, artists, writers, and anyone interested in creative expression are welcome. Whether you want to play a song, make art, write, listen, or simply be part of the community, there’s a place for you. The evening includes live music and an open stage, instruments available to use, art tables and supplies, journaling and creative activities, and opportunities to connect with others in recovery and the wider community. You do not need to be an experienced artist or musician. Creative Recovery is about participation, encouragement, and connection, not performance or competition.
